Welcome to the Scouting America Troop 80 website! We are part of the Seattle Territory within the Chief Seattle Council. We are based in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle.
Troop 80 was established in 1921 and is believed to be one of the oldest continually operating Scouting America Troops in the USA. In 2019, Scouting America allowed girls to be part of Scouts BSA, and Troop 8080 was formed as a sister troop to Troop 80 with Marc Todd as the Scoutmaster. In 2026, the two troops officially combined as a family troop with boys and girls as Troop 80.
Over 180 Troop 80 Scouts have attained the rank of Eagle Scout – the first was in 1932.
When and where do we meet? Our troops meet weekly during the school year, every Tuesday evening at 7 pm at the Magnolia United Church of Christ, 3555 W. McGraw St. in Seattle, Washington. To keep things simple, we follow the Seattle Public School calendar for scheduling our weekly Troop meetings.
